Roles and Responsibilities:

- Inspiring Mentorship: Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering confidence, resilience, and independence in our students.
- Innovative Teaching: Develop and implement creative and engaging learning activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of SEN students, making learning an exciting and enjoyable experience.
- Goal-Oriented Support: Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement personalised strategies that support students in reaching their academic and personal goals.
- Commitment to Excellence: Demonstrate unwavering dedication and flexibility, going above and beyond to ensure the success and well-being of every student.
Requirements:
- Passion for Education: Bring a genuine passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
- Qualifications: Hold an NVQ2/NVQ3 qualification or equivalent, with a focus on supporting students with SEN.
- Experience: Previous experience as a teaching/learning assistant or classroom assistant, particularly in SEN settings, is highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Be adaptable and resourceful, able to quickly adapt teaching methods and approaches to meet the unique needs of each student.
