Your Role and Responsibilities:
Classroom Assistance: Support classroom activities, providing targeted help to students with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND).
Mentorship and Guidance: Act as a supportive mentor, offering guidance and assistance through academic and personal challenges with empathy and discretion.
Learning Program Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of dynamic learning programs that foster a passion for learning among students.
Activity Facilitation: Help coordinate and manage engaging educational activities that promote student engagement and foster a love for learning.
Extended Support: Engage in duties beyond the regular school hours to enhance educational opportunities and support student success.
What We Expect from You:
Qualifications: Possess an NVQ2/NVQ3 or equivalent qualification, reflecting your commitment to educational support.
Experience: Bring a minimum of one year of experience in a teaching or learning support role, demonstrating your ability to effectively assist and inspire students.
Communication Skills: Utilise excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff, and to help navigate student challenges successfully.
Enthusiasm for Education: Exhibit a strong passion for education and a dedication to supporting the development of all students.
Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to various educational settings and student needs, ensuring all students receive the support they need.
