Our client, a highly-regarded and Ofsted rated Outstanding private day nursery, is seeking a committed individual to join their supportive team. They provide outstanding care and education for children from birth to five years, offering a warm, stimulating, and safe environment where young learners can truly flourish. Your New Role as a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
As a permanent Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a team to implement a rich, stimulating, and age-appropriate curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Being a key person for a group of children, ensuring their individual needs are met and fostering their development.
- Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, providing regular feedback on children's progress and development.
- Contributing to observations, planning, and record-keeping for your key children.
- Supporting the daily routines of the nursery room and ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safety.
- Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to the wider nursery goals.
- Adhering to all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety and safeguarding.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified to Level 3 Early Years Practitioner (or equivalent).
- Able to demonstrate proven experience working with children in an early years setting.
- Equipped with a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Able to show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and staff.
- Passionate about working with young children and committed to their holistic development.
- Organised, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (desirable, but training can be provided).
- Possess a sound understanding of safeguarding children.
