Logistics Coordinator (Stores & Packing)

Are you looking to build a career within a world-leading engineering environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dedicated team at our Denham site. This is a multi-skilled role where you will play a vital part in ensuring our high-quality components reach our customers and suppliers safely and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within our Stores and Packing Departments, you will be responsible for the preparation, protection, and movement of critical aerospace/engineering components.
- Packing Excellence: Primary and final packing of parts according to strict technical requirements, ensuring all labels and addresses are clear and accurate.
- Quality & Compliance: Validating batch numbers and part descriptions against the SAP system, flagging any discrepancies immediately to Cell Leaders.
- Stock Management: Accurately picking, packing, and issuing materials from Detail and Raw Material Stores.
- Internal Logistics: Moving goods across the factory using forklift trucks, electric pallet stackers, and scissor lifts.
- Cross-Functional Support: Liaising with the Shipping Clerk to ensure dispatch readiness and undertaking multi-skilled duties such as saw operation in Raw Material Stores.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous stores or packing experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Technical Skills: Computer literate (MS Office/Excel); experience with SAP is a significant advantage.
- Attributes: A structured, methodical approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow complex written or verbal instructions.
- Licensing: Ability/willingness to operate warehouse machinery (Forklift/Robur).
