Our MACH is our front door service, where information comes into the local authority and is triaged, for some children and families this can result in no further action, signposting to a more appropriate service or a step-down to Early Help services. Where further work is required our assessment teams work with children and their families to fully understand any risks and needs, for some children and families this will result in a brief period of support before signposting to another service, for others this will result in longer-term intervention and transfer into one of our other social services, such a SCP.
