We are a leading manufacturing facility just outside of Boston, and we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer who takes pride in technical excellence. With a base salary of £52,220, we are looking for the "best of the best"-engineers who can hit the ground running, solve complex problems, and keep a high-speed production site at peak performance.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, "hands-on" role where your technical expertise will be put to the test every day. You will be responsible for:
Reactive Maintenance: Rapidly diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime.
Planned Maintenance (PPM): Executing scheduled maintenance to a high standard to ensure long-term reliability.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying "bad actor" machinery and suggesting technical fixes to improve efficiency.
Compliance: Working to strict safety and hygiene standards within a modern manufacturing environment.
What We Are Looking For
To be considered for this high-yield role, you must have:
Qualifications: A minimum of a Level 3 Engineering Qualification (NVQ, BTEC, or City & Guilds).
Experience: Proven experience in a fast-moving manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skillset: Ideally Multi-Skilled (Electrical/Mechanical) with the ability to work independently on a rotating shift.
Reliability: A proactive work ethic and the flexibility to work a 4-on, 4-off (Days & Nights) pattern.
