Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer tired of the "shift life"? If you're looking for a role that offers a premium salary without the antisocial hours, this is it. We are looking for a disciplined, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team and keep our manufacturing site running at peak performance.
The Role
You'll be the heartbeat of our production line, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum through proactive maintenance and rapid fault-finding. This is a truly multi-skilled role where you'll be expected to dive into both electrical and mechanical challenges daily.
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Execute scheduled maintenance to prevent costly breakdowns.
Reactive Maintenance: Use your expertise to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults under pressure.
Continuous Improvement: Identify ways to optimize machinery performance and safety.
Compliance: Maintain accurate logs and ensure all work meets strict health and safety standards.
What's in it for you?
Salary: £47,000 per annum.
Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday, Days Only.
Earn More: Regular overtime opportunities available to boost your take-home pay.
Environment: A fast-paced, modern manufacturing site with a supportive team culture.
What we need from you
We aren't looking for "part-changers"; we need a genuine problem solver.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 (NVQ/City & Guilds) in a relevant Engineering discipline or a completed Apprenticeship.
Experience: Proven track record working within a manufacturing or production environment.
Technical Skillset: Fully multi-skilled. You should be as comfortable navigating a PLC or wiring a motor as you are replacing bearings or working on hydraulics/pneumatics.
Mindset: A "safety-first" attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
