This role requires regular travel (all expenses covered) across our three primary sites in the East of England region.
Primary Hubs: Near March and Sandy - approximately 2 days per week at each.
Third Site: Near Cambridge - approximately 1 day per week.
Your start time will be amended based on travel time to each site so don't worry you will still be leaving and getting home at the same time!

We are a growing, multi-site precision engineering and manufacturing business seeking an experienced, proactive, and electrically competent Maintenance Technician to support the smooth operation of our facilities and production equipment.
Your main focus will be to minimise downtime and enhance efficiency across all sites by managing both reactive and preventative maintenance programs.
🔑 Key Responsibilities and Focus Areas
Your priorities will be:
Machine Breakdown Expertise: Providing fast, effective reactive maintenance to production machinery and implementing robust proactive/preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to drive reliability and efficiency.
Electrical Maintenance: Utilizing strong electrical knowledge (fault-finding, maintenance, and repair) to address electrical issues on machinery and within facilities.
General Maintenance: Performing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance tasks as required.
Health & Safety: Ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted safely and adhere to company policies.

Competitive Salary: ÂŁ44,000 per annum
Generous Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus all UK Bank Holidays.
Hours: A favorable weekly schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:15 pm
Friday: 7:30 am to 3:00 pm (Finish early for the weekend!)

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Demonstrable expertise in managing machine breakdowns and implementing proactive maintenance programs.
Strong electrical background with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel between the three sites regularly.
Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.
