The Details
Location: Inchinnan Business Park, Paisley.
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour.- Shift Allowance: An additional 25% shift allowance.
- Salary Equivalent: £27,107.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating pattern (Early, Back, and Night shifts).
- Duration: 6-month initial contract.
The Role
As a Level 1 Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents are met. You will:
Support the efficiency of processes and machines to meet schedule attainment.
Collaborate with team leaders, supervisors, and other departments to maintain high quality and service standards.- Work in a graded manufacturing environment, adhering to specific gowning requirements.
- Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely.
- Perform manual handling tasks that may involve standing for long periods
Who Are We Looking For?
Education: National 5 or better in Standard Grade Maths and English
Experience: No direct experience required as full training will be given. Relevant work experience is also considered a suitable alternative.- Background: This role is perfect for school leavers or anyone with a passion for the industry and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Requirements: You must be comfortable working a rotating shift pattern and performing physical tasks safely.
