We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator to join our filling team. You will play a crucial role in the production of essential products for both our core Healthcare/Infectious Disease (HID) and pharmaceutical divisions.
The Opportunity
- Location: Warrington, UK - 7 Kingsland Grange
- Time Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Duration: 12-month contract (with potential for extension/conversion)
- Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour (Equivalent to an annual salary of $\approx$ £25,000)
- Shift Pattern: Full-time (currently piloting new pattern system):
- Monday - Thursday: 7:15 AM - 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:15 AM - 11:45 AM
- Overtime: Available
- Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start)
Discover Impactful Work: A Day in the Life
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be based on-site and responsible for:
- Cleanroom Operations: Working in cleanrooms, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to minimise contamination and human DNA touch points.
- Equipment Operation: Operating various manual and automated equipment crucial to the production process.
- Quality & Documentation: Completing necessary documentation accurately and adhering strictly to Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards.
- Process Improvement: Actively engaging in process improvements using our Practical Process Improvement (PPI) business system to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining a consistently clean and safe working environment for all personnel.
- Teamwork: Closely collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Material Handling.
- Physical Requirements: The role involves a certain level of manual handling and standing for long periods of time.
Keys to Success
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
- Proactivity & Teamwork: Must demonstrate the ability to be proactive, take initiative, and work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
- Experience (Preferable but not essential): Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable, but all training will be provided.
- Clean Room Experience (A Plus): Previous manufacturing experience in a Clean Room environment is an advantage.
