- Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Night Shift)
- Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
- Shift Pattern: 4 Nights On, 4 Nights Off (12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Pay Rate: £16.49 per hour
The Mission: Technical Precision & Compliance
This is a critical, hands-on role focused on the continuous, high-quality operation of our production line. You will master sophisticated, highly automated equipment to ensure compliant and efficient output.
- Automated Equipment Operation: Efficiently run, monitor, and perform essential setup procedures (including line clearances) on complex manufacturing equipment, strictly adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Data Integrity & Traceability: Accurately input and verify critical machine data (e.g., yield, efficiency) using specialised systems (like MacPac or POMS/EBR) to maintain precise inventory tracking and batch record management.
- Proactive Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defence, effectively troubleshooting and resolving minor operational issues that arise on the line. Promptly escalate complex technical faults to Engineering.
- Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Champion site-wide quality standards, utilising 6S principles for organisation and cleanliness. Ensure all activities strictly comply with quality guidelines, SOPs, COSHH, and EHS regulations.
- Safety Focus: Uphold the highest site safety standards, actively participating in all training and reporting near misses or accidents promptly.

- Experience: While previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, or food) is beneficial, it is not essential.
