Maths Teachers Vacancies for September- In Liverpool (covering L1 to L40)
We are seeking dedicated educators to join our network of secondary schools across the heart of Liverpool. This is an incredible opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students, helping them unlock the mysteries of mathematics and build a solid foundation for their future.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. As a Maths Teacher, you will be an integral part of a supportive and collaborative faculty, committed to raising attainment and fostering a love for numbers. This role offers flexible long-term and short-term placements, giving you the chance to gain diverse experience in a variety of school settings.
The pay is excellent, ranging from £150 to £220 per day, based on your experience.
Job Duties:
- Develop innovative lesson plans that use real-world applications to bring mathematical concepts to life.
- Mentor students in preparation for their GCSEs, providing one-on-one support and running engaging revision workshops.
- Organise and lead a "Maths Club" or "Problem-Solving Society" to encourage extracurricular engagement and critical thinking.
- Utilise and integrate cutting-edge educational technology to create dynamic and interactive classroom experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects, such as a "Maths in Science" or "Statistics in Geography" initiative.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Eligible to Work in the UK (ETW).
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
