Maths Teacher - Liverpool
We are looking for passionate and skilled Maths Teachers to fill various roles in our partner secondary schools across Liverpool.
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and equipping them with the essential skills they need for their future.
Pay: £150 - £220 per day, dependent on experience and placement.
The Role:
As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering High-Quality Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons for students across all Key Stages, from 3 to 5.
- Fostering a Love for Maths: Use innovative and inspiring teaching methods to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable for all students, regardless of their ability.
- Assessing Student Progress: Regularly monitor and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborating with Colleagues: Work closely with the head of the department and other teachers to develop and improve the curriculum and share best practices.
- Creating a Safe Environment: Ensure the classroom is a positive and safe space where students feel confident to learn and ask questions.

Skills and Qualifications Needed:
To be a successful candidate, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one).
