Maths Teacher - Sefton (All Areas) - September Roles - £150-£220/day
We are looking for skilled Maths Teachers to work in secondary schools across Sefton, including Bootle, Crosby, Maghull, Formby, South Sefton and beyond.
New academic year, new opportunity! As September approaches, we're working with several fantastic secondary schools to find talented Maths Teachers to hit the ground running. If you're ready for a fresh challenge or looking to relocate, we want to hear from you.
Duties:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 advantageous but not essential).
- Plan, prepare, and assess student's work in line with the national curriculum.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage all learners and cater to diverse abilities.
- Support students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and numeracy skills.
- Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and interventions.
- Participate in school meetings, CPD sessions, and parents' evenings where required.
- Monitor and report on student progress regularly, identifying areas for improvement.
Must-Haves:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one prior to start).
- Recent experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools.
- Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date with curriculum changes.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
