Are you a dedicated and inspiring Maths Teacher looking for a new role in Sefton?
We are seeking skilled educators to work in our partner secondary schools across the borough. You will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of students and contributing to their academic success.
Pay: £150 - £220 per day, dependent on experience and placement.
The Role and Your Duties:

- Southport (PR8, PR9)
- Ainsdale (PR8)
As a Maths Teacher, your key responsibilities will be:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons for students across all Key Stages, from 3 to 5.
- Fostering a love for mathematics and making the subject accessible and enjoyable for all.
- Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborating with colleagues within the maths and wider school departments to share best practices.
- Creating a positive and safe classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.

Skills and Qualifications Needed:
To be a successful candidate, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one).
