The Role
This is a full-time position starting ASAP for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The role requires someone who can navigate the curriculum with confidence, ensuring that students of all abilities You will be joining a department that values evidence-based practice and works together to reduce workload through shared resources and collective planning.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of current pedagogical trends and the GCSE curriculum.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment through effective behaviour management.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of schemes of work.
- Set regular homework that challenges students and reinforces classroom learning.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations and internal assessments.
- Engage with parents and guardians during parents' evenings and through regular progress updates.
- Act as a Form Tutor, providing pastoral support and guidance to a designated group of students.
- Collaborate with the SENDCO to ensure that students with additional needs are fully supported.
- Uphold the ethos and values of the school in all professional interactions.
