Are you passionate about making a positive impact in someone's lif? We are looking for a support worker for an adult male in living as independently as possible within his home and community? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Support Worker in Carlisle (CA4 8BL) and are actively seeking qualified candidates to expedite our hiring process.

We are looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working in the UK in a similar role, specifically supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to assist individuals in achieving their independence goals within both home and community settings.
- Proficiency in de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively, especially within a 2:1 support ratio.
- A genuine commitment to promoting the well-being and dignity of the individual.
- Willingness to work the specified shift pattern, which includes day shifts with sleep-ins and morning shifts.
- A minimum of 6 months of recent UK experience in supporting service users with learning disabilities and associated complex needs
- A valid Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer sponsorships)
- An Enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service
- A valid CSTF Mandatory Practical Training Certificate (completed within the last 12 months)
- Employment references covering the last 3 years

- Working hours: 08:00 - 20:00 (day shift with sleep-in) followed by 07:00 - 10:30
