Our leading Facilities Management client has a new opening for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to work with a school in the London area (postcode N5 2EQ). The successful candidate will be part of a highly competent team.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: £21/hour
Duration: ASAP - 29/07/2025
Requirements: Enhanced DBS (including barred list check), Full UK Driving Licence, Good timekeeping and reliability
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances
- Identify faults or potential hazards and carry out necessary repairs
- Review and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to assess wiring layouts
- Conduct testing of electrical systems using tools such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters
- Undertake maintenance and repairs on outdated or malfunctioning systems
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
- Ensure all work complies with current health, safety, and performance standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- BS 7671 18th Edition Certification
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good timekeeping and dependable work ethic
- Be reliable, positive, and self motivated
