Key Requirements & Responsibilities 📋
Qualifications: Must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification).
Experience: Proven experience working as a qualified plumber, handling a variety of domestic and light commercial plumbing tasks (e.g., repairs, installations, fault-finding, maintenance).
Mobile Operations: Comfort and proficiency with a mobile, field-based role. Must hold a valid, UK Driving Licence.
Technology Use: Essential experience using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone for daily job functions, including:
Receiving and managing digital work orders.
Logging job notes, materials used, and time on site.
Completing digital job reports and invoices.
Communicating with the office and customers via email/app.
Technical Skills: Competence in areas such as:
Installing and repairing hot and cold water systems.
Working with drainage systems and waste disposal.
Installing and maintaining sanitaryware and appliances.
Basic knowledge of central heating systems is a plus.
Customer Service: Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a courteous manner when interacting with clients.
Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, highly organised, and capable of working independently.
