Job Title: Multiskilled Engineer

📍 Location: Grays UK
💰 Salary: £42,000 per annum
🕒 Shift Pattern: Rotating 12-hour day and night shifts

The Role

We are looking for a flexible and experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join a facilities and utilities maintenance team on a large industrial site. You'll work across plant equipment and utility systems, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Duties

• Maintain and inspect plant machinery and utilities equipment

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical faults

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance

• Record data, complete reports, and ensure site housekeeping

• Supervise contractors and ensure safe working practices

• Support shift cover and emergency call-outs as required

Requirements

• Recognised technical qualification (HNC/HND preferred)

• Experience in facilities or utilities maintenance

• Good computer and communication skills

• Flexible to work shift patterns and cover team absences
