Location: Wokingham and surrounding districts.
Salary: £37,425 annually + Provided Work Vehicle + Fuel Card.
We are seeking a highly proficient and credentialed Multi-Trade Operative to join a leading housing provider within their Planned Maintenance Department on an ongoing social housing contract. Your primary accountability will be the independent undertaking of comprehensive maintenance, repair, and installation tasks specifically within Empty homes (Voids), with the goal of ensuring they are swiftly prepared to a high-quality standard ready for tenanting.
Role Responsibilities
You will be involved in the full programme of renovation for vacant units, primarily focusing on:
Complete fitting and replacement of Kitchens and Bathrooms.
Variety of trade repairs, including Joinery, Plumbing, and general restorative works to bring the dwelling up to specification.
Working productively to meet critical handover timescales and property completion deadlines.
Applicant Requirements
Qualification: Must hold an official trade qualification such as an NVQ Level 2 or a City & Guilds in a primary discipline (e.g., Joinery, Plumbing, Bricklaying).
Experience: Extensive, verifiable history as a Multi-Trade Operative, with specific background in void/empty property remediation or residential planned refurbishment schemes.
Skills/Versatility: Demonstrated ability to execute high-quality work across multiple key trades.
Driving: A current, full UK Driving Licence is absolutely required.
