Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days)
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Salary: £40,000-50,000 per annum + Overtime & On-call
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (1-in-6 on-call rota)

The Role

Working within a high-energy production facility, you will focus on minimizing downtime and driving system improvements. This is a site that prioritizes Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and long-term asset reliability over "firefighting."
Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
Maintain automated systems, including PLCs, controls, and 3-phase motors.
Support machine part replacements and conduct mandatory safety logs.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and site upgrades.
The Candidate
We are looking for a collaborative, forward-thinking engineer with an "electrical bias" and a proactive attitude.
Experience: Several years within an FMCG or high-speed food production environment.
Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical fault finding, wiring, and industrial controls (18th Edition preferred).
Mindset: Ambitious, enthusiastic, and a dedicated team player.
