We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced nursery assistant with a Level 2 qualification or above to join an established setting in Leeds, who are available to start working as soon as possible. Responsibilities
- Plan creative age-appropriate activities to support key children's specific development
- Complete observations for each child to document development accurately
- Complete children's hygiene routines and support with mealtimes
- Contribute towards a safe and enjoyable environment
- You must safeguard children
- You must keep records of daily diary sheets regarding the children
- Be a proactive team member with an enthusiastic attitude
- Support staff members with key worker responsibilities
The requirements
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to obtain one through Randstad
- Previous experience working with babies and young children aged 0-5 is essential
- NVQ Level 2 and above/equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong work ethic and professional attitude
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
