Your Responsibilities as a Nursery Assistant:
Create and lead engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Uphold the highest standards of safety and safeguarding, ensuring the well-being of all children under your care through constant supervision.
Foster a stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and can thrive.
Support children with personal care routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and nappy changes, with dignity and care.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic learning environment.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to plan activities and meet the individual needs of each child.
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for working with and caring for young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children, parents, and colleagues.
A reliable, patient, and proactive team player.
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting (e.g., as a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, or similar role).
Desirable: A relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education. Note: Unqualified candidates with a strong passion for the sector are strongly encouraged to apply, as training opportunities may be available.
