Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursery Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a fun and engaging learning experience for children. You'll be involved in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and working collaboratively with a passionate team. You'll build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
Main tasks include
- Lead engaging play-based learning and creative activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children through constant supervision.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic learning environment.
- Assist with personal care tasks.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet individual child needs.
- A genuine passion for childcare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience working with young children (preferred, but not essential).
- Relevant childcare qualifications (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of children of varying ages and abilities.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies.
- Basic first aid knowledge (preferred).
