Role & Responsibilities
As a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, supporting children's development, and working closely with the nursery team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. You will be actively involved in all aspects of childcare within the EYFS framework, contributing to a positive and enriching experience for every child.
Main tasks include
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Contribute to the overall running of the nursery.
- Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an EYFS setting.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Experience with planning and delivering activities that meet the needs of individual children.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
