We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead a high-performing team within Hackney Adults Services, with a focus on supporting individuals with long-term conditions both within the borough and in out-of-borough placements. This pivotal leadership role will shape the delivery of integrated health and social care services through a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of practitioners - primarily Occupational Therapists - ensuring high standards of practice and accountability.
Provide professional supervision and line management to senior and front-line staff across your service area.
Champion a person-centred, strengths-based culture across the team, ensuring that service users and their carers are supported with dignity, respect, and autonomy.
Ensure compliance with adult safeguarding responsibilities in line with current legislation and best practice.
Oversee and drive team performance, contributing to the achievement of local and national Health & Social Care KPIs.
Respond to complaints, Freedom of Information requests, and produce high-quality reports and operational updates as required.
Play a key role in service planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across your area of responsibility.
What We're Looking For:
Proven management experience within Adult Social Care, ideally with a strong background in Occupational Therapy.
In-depth understanding of legislation and guidance relating to safeguarding adults, long-term conditions, and community-based care.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage performance effectively.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills, with a solution-focused mindset.
