We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager, to lead the administrative team, support the Managing Director and manage budgets and suppliers.
This is a flagship Infrastructure scheme in the Middlesbrough area.
Job duties:
- Develop and manage all office systems and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage the administrative team, allocating workloads and ensuring consistent support.
- Provide high-level secretarial support to the Managing Director.
- Oversee invoice processing, supplier contracts, and procurement to ensure compliance and value.
- Ensure the office meets all Health & Safety, security, and statutory requirements.
- Manage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and external service providers.
- Support the Business Continuity Plan and champion company values, with a focus on Zero Harm and sustainability.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing a busy office environment and leading a team.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, work on your own initiative, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
- A collaborative team player with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and excellent general IT skills.
