Office Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor - Central London Commercial Development
Are you a highly organised and proactive Office Manager looking for a challenging new role. We are working with a UK leading Tier 1 main contractor seeking a dedicated Office Manager to join our team on a major commercial development in central London. This is an ongoing contract role, offering a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious project and become an integral part of a dynamic and fast-paced construction team.
Duties:
- As the Office Manager, you will be the heart of our site office, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing all administrative tasks, including correspondence, filing, and data entry.
Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, deliveries, and phone calls.
Maintaining office supplies and equipment, and liaising with suppliers.
Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the site team.
Assisting with project documentation and reporting.
Supporting the project management team with various administrative duties.
Ensuring the office environment is kept tidy, safe, and professional.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, preferably within the construction sector.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
