About the Role

- Strong Conflict Resolution and mediation abilities.
- Proven skills in Behaviour Management and restorative practices.
- High level of Empathy and Sensitivity when dealing with vulnerable students.
- Excellent Organisational Skills for case management and record-keeping.
- The ability to work Independently and exercise initiative under pressure.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide One-to-One and Group Pastoral Interventions to address social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Monitor Student Well-being, Behaviour, and Attendance, implementing effective support plans.
- Investigate Behaviour Incidents), ensuring fair and timely resolution using the school's policy.
- Act as a crucial Liaison Point between students, parents/carers, teaching staff, and outside agencies.
- Maintain Accurate and Confidential Records of all interventions and case files.
- Lead on the Induction and Transition of new and vulnerable students into the school.
- Support the Safeguarding Lead by raising concerns and contributing to strategy implementation.
- Support Teachers in the classroom by advising on behaviour management strategies.
- Organise and attend relevant meetings with families and professionals.
- Actively Promote Student Voice and support students in developing coping strategies, resilience, and self-esteem.
