Physical Education Teacher - Southport
Daily Pay: £150-£220
Start Date: September 2025
Schools in Southport are seeking an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team in September and lead the charge for health and fitness in the new academic year.
You'll be working with a range of pupils, delivering fun and challenging lessons across different sports and activities. You'll also take the lead in promoting physical confidence, teamwork, and resilience in your students.
Duties Include:
- Planning and delivering practical and theoretical PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork.
- Organising sports fixtures, after-school clubs, and enrichment activities.
- Assessing student progress and preparing reports.
- Managing resources and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Upholding excellent classroom behaviour and inclusion for all pupils.
Ideal Candidate:
- QTS and a relevant degree in Physical Education or Sports Science.
- Experience teaching PE in secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for health and fitness.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain one).
