We have an exciting Locum Practice Manager Opportunity based within a Youth Justice Team in the Trafford, Greater Manchester area. As Practice Manager, you will lead and support a multi-agency team delivering specialist services to children and young people involved with, or at risk of entering, the Criminal Justice System. The service focuses on prevention, diversion, and effective community or custodial interventions while working closely with families and victims.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary Youth Justice team
- Oversee practice standards and support professional development
- Ensure effective delivery of prevention, diversion, and court-ordered interventions
- Coordinate work with families, victims, police, courts, and other partner agencies
- Monitor service performance and outcomes
- Drive service improvement and uphold national Youth Justice Board standards
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Social Work Qualification
- SWE registration
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a youth justice or similar setting
- Experience in working with children in conflict with the law
- Strong multi-agency partnership skills
- Clear understanding of restorative justice, safeguarding, and risk management
