Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: East Grinstead
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)

About the Role:
Randstad Education is looking for an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This full-time position involves working closely with both teachers and SEN pupils to create an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN
Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive engagement
Support pupils with personal care and emotional regulation, if required
Liaise with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to track progress
Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
A positive, patient, and empathetic approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
Relevant TA qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
