A Rewarding Teaching Opportunity: Primary Teacher (SEN)
Are you a highly motivated and skilled educator looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team and make a tangible impact on the lives of children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs. This is a chance to use your expertise to help students reach their full potential and achieve positive outcomes.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the welfare, progress, and outcomes of your pupils. You will contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum, ensuring it meets the educational, physical, and social needs of each student. This role requires you to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and take leadership in a designated subject or curriculum area. We are looking for someone with a strong background in SEND who is committed to continuous professional development.
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge and Skills:
A deep understanding of students with complex needs and SEND.
Familiarity with the national curriculum and experience with curriculum development for pupils with SEND.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to remain calm and reflective in a challenging environment.
A proven track record of working on your own initiative, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Experience and Qualifications:
A PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status, or an equivalent teaching qualification is essential.
Experience working in a special school, particularly with pupils with autism, is desirable.
Experience successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum is also desirable.
You will be expected to uphold the company's values and ethos at all times. Due to the school's location, having the ability to drive is beneficial as public transport is limited.
If you are ready to apply your skills in a setting where you can truly make a difference, we encourage you to get in touch.
