On behalf of our partner Primary School in Caldecote, we are seeking a top-tier Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS mandatory) for a long-term, full-time classroom role beginning in September 2026. This opportunity is ideal for educators passionate about Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, within an environment that highly values child-centric instruction, innovative lesson design, and collaborative teamwork. Taking on this full-time role means assuming total classroom ownership-driving student achievement and instilling an enduring enthusiasm for learning across your class.
Key Responsibilities:
- Imaginative Lesson Delivery: Plan and teach high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, modifying your approaches to support and challenge the various learning profiles in your room.
- Progress Assessment: Monitor student milestones using robust formative and summative evaluation tools, translating data into effective academic support or enrichment activities.
- Classroom Team Leadership: Direct and collaborate with your classroom Teaching Assistants constructively, ensuring pupils with SEND and EAL requirements receive targeted, empowering guidance.
- Orderly & Positive Atmosphere: Foster a calm, stimulating, and respectful classroom culture rooted in positive reinforcement, clear routines, and emotional safety.
- Parental Partnership: Maintain transparent, professional, and consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student breakthroughs, behaviour, and overall well-being.
- School Community Integration: Participate actively in phase planning sessions, routine staff meetings, professional development days, and whole-school events.
What You'll Bring to the School
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory. A proven track record of successful teaching within a UK primary school setting. (Both seasoned practitioners and Early Career Teachers are welcome).
- Curriculum Fluency: A comprehensive, modern understanding of primary teaching practices, milestone tracking, and core literacy, phonics, and numeracy frameworks.
- Confident Classroom Management: The ability to establish clear boundaries, hold students to high behavioural expectations, and inspire a focused, optimistic instructional environment from day one.
- Long-Term Consistency: The professional reliability to commit to a full-time, Monday-to-Friday teaching schedule starting in September 2026 for the full academic year.
- Vetting Requirements: A current Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new application through Randstad).
