Are you an adaptable, qualified Primary Supply Teacher looking for flexible work where you can focus entirely on teaching without the burden of take-home work?
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join our pool for daily and short-term cover needs within our supportive network of primary schools in Plymouth. The Role
The core focus of this position is to provide high-quality classroom cover across different key stages (EYFS, KS1, and KS2) on an ad-hoc, daily, or short-term basis.
You will be responsible for delivering lessons planned by the class teacher, managing the classroom effectively, and ensuring continuity of learning for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, pre-prepared lesson plans to pupils across the primary phase.
- Maintain a positive, safe learning environment and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Adhere to individual school policies, safeguarding procedures, and marking guidelines.
- Provide a brief, helpful handover note for the class teacher at the end of the day.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for highly flexible, reliable, and professional educators who meet the following criteria:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
- Outstanding classroom and behaviour management skills.
- An adaptable nature, with the ability to quickly establish rapport with new classes and staff.
- A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
