On behalf of our partner primary school in Waltham Cross, we are currently appointing a high-calibre Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS mandatory) for a full-time, long-term vacancy starting in September 2026. Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Lesson Delivery: Design and facilitate thought-provoking, interactive lessons that breathe life into the National Curriculum, modifying your delivery to accommodate the full spectrum of learning styles in your room.
- Assessment & Milestone Tracking: Implement effective formative and summative assessment procedures to keep a close eye on student trajectories, turning data into actionable strategy via tailored catch-up or extension groups.
- Classroom Team Leadership: Manage and direct your classroom support staff constructively, ensuring that children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) or English as an Additional Language (EAL) receive structured, impactful guidance.
- Safe & Positive Atmosphere: Establish an orderly, upbeat, and encouraging classroom community built on mutual kindness, clear boundaries, and emotional reassurance.
- Parental Partnership: Keep up transparent, constructive, and regular dialogue with parents and guardians regarding their children's behavioural developments, personal growth, and academic successes.
- School Community Integration: Contribute meaningfully to year-group planning, staff briefings, inset training days, and seasonal school events.
What You'll Bring to the School
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory. A verified background of successful teaching within a UK primary school framework. Applications from both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are highly encouraged.
