We Are Seeking:
Randstad Education is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary Teacher for KS1-KS2 located in the scenic area of Windsor. Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Instruction: Provide specialised educational support to students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEND, tailored to their individual needs in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Collaborative Teaching: Work closely with other teachers and Key Stage coordinators to incorporate effective SEN teaching methods and practices.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor, offering guidance and support for both academic and social development of students, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Effective Communication: Establish and maintain strong communication channels with students, parents, and the educational team to ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Curriculum Innovation: Design, evaluate, and enhance engaging educational programs that uphold high standards of academic excellence.
- Passionate Engagement: Demonstrate a profound passion for teaching and mentoring children aged 5-11 years across Years 1-6, inspiring a love for learning.
Requirements:
- Certification: Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in an educational setting, ideally involving SEN students.
- Communication Proficiency: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate in diverse educational settings.
- SEN Passion: A demonstrated enthusiasm for working with SEN children and a deep understanding of their unique educational and social needs.
- Adaptive Teaching: Adept at modifying teaching methods and strategies to meet the varied needs of SEN students.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching primary-aged children is required, with a strong emphasis on SEN education preferred.
