We Are Seeking:
Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) Primary Teacher for KS1-KS2 in the charming area of Windsor. This role is ideal for an educator passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment and ensuring equal opportunities for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tailored Instruction: Provide individualised educational support to SEMH students, including those with ASD, ADHD, and SEND, both in one-on-one sessions and group settings.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with fellow educators and Key Stage coordinators to implement effective SEN teaching strategies and techniques.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor, offering guidance and support to students for their academic and social development while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Effective Communication: Establish strong communication channels with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging educational programs that meet the diverse needs of SEN students while maintaining high academic standards.
- Passionate Engagement: Inspire a love for learning and personal growth in students aged 5-11 across Years 1-6 through enthusiastic teaching and mentorship.
Requirements:
- Certification: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in an educational setting, preferably with SEN students.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to collaborate effectively in diverse educational settings.
- SEN Passion: Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for working with SEMH students and possess a deep understanding of their unique educational and social needs.
- Adaptive Teaching: Ability to adapt teaching methods and strategies to meet the individual needs of SEMH students effectively.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching primary-aged children is required, with a strong emphasis on SEMH education preferred.
