As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you play a vital role in a child's early education. You will work alongside teachers to create a fun, safe, and organised learning environment. Your day will involve helping young children (ages 4-11) develop essential skills in reading, writing, and social interaction.

We have roles available in local schools across these areas:
- Chester Central: CH1, CH2, CH3
- Surrounds: CH4 (Saltney/Lache), CH65/CH66 (Ellesmere Port), and nearby Cheshire villages.
Your Duties:
- Leading small reading or phonics groups to improve literacy.
- Helping children with basic maths and counting activities.
- Setting up creative classroom displays and learning materials.
- Supervising children during play to ensure they stay safe.
- Helping children learn how to play and share together.
- Helping the teacher manage classroom behaviour in a positive way.
- Following all safeguarding rules to protect the children in your care.
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Nurturing Nature: A friendly personality that makes children feel safe.
- Energy: Being ready to join in with active learning and games.
- Patience: Understanding that every child learns at their own pace.
- Communication: The ability to talk to children clearly and kindly.
- Experience: Previous work in a school, nursery, or childcare setting is preferred.
