Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) to support students in a vibrant and inclusive school in the local area. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday during term time only - perfect for someone seeking consistency and work-life balance within a school environment.
Role Overview:
Provide one-to-one and group support to children with SEN
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and behaviour support strategies
Encourage the social and emotional development of pupils
Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)
A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
