Are you an experienced and highly skilled Social Worker looking to take on a leadership role within a dynamic team? Cardiff Council is seeking a Principal Social Worker to join their busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in initial safeguarding decisions for children and families.
Rate: £43.28 per hour
About the Role:
As a Principal Social Worker in the MASH team, you will be crucial in screening and making informed decisions on referrals, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to safeguarding concerns. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, provide expert guidance, and contribute to the effective flow of information to protect vulnerable children.
What We're Looking For:
- A Social Work Degree or equivalent relevant degree.
- At least 4+ years of experience working with children in the UK.
- Registered with Social Care Wales.
- An up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service).
