Key Job Details
Job Title: Production Operative
Job Type: Temporary - ongoing
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (+£2.55 shift allowance for night per hour)
Location: Ashford, TN25 4AQ
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:00 (Early Shift) or 14:00 - 22:00 (Late Shift)
- Friday (Early Finish!): 06:00 - 12:30 or 12:30 - 19:00
Note: Candidates must be flexible to work both shift rotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Handle and monitor equipment daily to ensure production lines run smoothly, accurately, and strictly on schedule.
- Quality Assurance: Work along the line to inspect and maintain high-quality standards from start to finish.
- Cosmetics Manufacturing: Collaborate with a supportive production team to assemble and manufacture globally recognized beauty products.
- Continuous Improvement: Work with modern, evolving factory tech to achieve optimum equipment performance and peak product standards.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: No prior experience needed-full training is provided from day one! (Previous manufacturing/warehouse experience is a bonus).
- Attention to Detail: Imperative for maintaining precision across high-end products.
- Teamwork & Initiative: Ability to thrive as part of a team while using individual initiative when needed.
- Operational Skills: Ability to follow detailed production instructions, operate machinery, and act quickly if an issue arises.
- Eligibility: Right to work in the UK with a solid level of English language comprehension.
