My client are a leading industrial machinery manufacturing company and are currently hiring for a Project Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant looking to join a diverse team based in Killarney, Co. Kerry.The role is hybrid and based in their Project Control department.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and insightful project profit and loss (P&L) forecast reports, supporting strategic decision-making.
Develop and maintain project cash flow projections at the sales offer stage, while overseeing the overall cash flow for the project portfolio.
Produce timely monthly departmental reports, ensuring all deliverable's are met within set deadlines.
Conduct in-depth analysis of actual project results, identifying and explaining variances from budgeted costs to inform financial and operational improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or similar qualification)
- Minimum 3-5 years post qualification experience in a similar analytical role
- Manufacturing/Engineering industry experience is desirable but not essential
