Project Manager - Card Acquiring Domain
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology and business change projects, with a focus on the Card Acquiring domain. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals, timely delivery, and value realisation.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing tactical execution with strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
... - Lead the delivery of complex IT and business change projects, from initial concept through to implementation and post-deployment support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend internal and third-party system solutions that meet business requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT capabilities and business priorities.
- Drive the creation of business cases, project charters, scope documents, and rollout plans.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and resources-making trade-off decisions as needed.
- Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, execution, testing (UAT), go-live, and post-launch review.
- Ensure systems solutions are scalable, internationally capable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure clarity of requirements and successful delivery.
- Track project performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust plans as needed to stay aligned with objectives.
- Communicate project status to senior leadership and stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Navigate ambiguity and change with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
Skills & Experience
Mandatory:
- Proven experience managing projects within the Card Acquiring or Payments domain.
Required:
- Strong background in delivering large-scale IT projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT systems, architecture, and constraints.
- Strong budget management and resource planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience producing and managing project documentation, including business cases, plans, and governance artefacts.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Experience with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and other PM platforms.
- Understanding of process automation, digital transformation, and system integration projects.
