My client, a well-known rail contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a long term major project in London. This role will be a freelance position inside of IR35 meaning you will need to be paid via umbrella or Randstad PAYE
The selected candidate will have a broad experience across signalling and rail systems projects. Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working with specialist signalling contractors or client side covering signalling contractors.
Roles and responsibilities
- Proven experience in delivering Signalling data programmes.
- Proven experience in managing multiple contractors to deliver 1 integrated output.
- Demonstrable ability to plan and integrate works in a programme.
- Ability to integrate contractor plans and add value through coordinating activities between different groups and stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate control and competence to client team and 3rd party stakeholders.
- Understanding of critical risks, ownership, communication and management.
- Commercial acumen, understanding forecasts, spend, budgetary control.
- Skilled communicator
Candidate requirements:
- Degree qualifies in Construction, Engineering or equivalent
- Have previous experience as a Project Manager within the signalling world
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A valid CSCS card
