The company is experiencing continued growth and is looking for an enthusiastic and committed professional with experience in building refurbishment within a rail or non-residential setting. You'll be a key team member, playing a vital role in securing and delivering projects from tender to handover. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career and lead the development of the company's building capabilities.
This role involves travel throughout Southern England.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage building projects from award through to completion.
- Help develop the company's project management and self-delivery capabilities.
- Support in bidding for and securing new projects.
- Lead the development of productivity norms to help win and deliver new projects.
- Manage the preparation of Health and Safety Plans, Quality Plans, and Method Statements.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Control weekly progress against the project program and budget.
Candidate Profile
- You should have at least 5+ years of experience in the building sector and 2+ years as a Project Lead.
- A proven track record of winning and delivering projects on time, to quality, and profitably is required.
- A degree or equivalent in Building Studies or Construction Management is essential.
- You should be fully proficient with Microsoft packages and other project-related software.
- Ideally, you will have experience within the UK building sector and a good understanding of refurbishing operational properties.
- You must hold a full driving license.
