        Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager required Location: Daventry Start date: Late September 2020Duration: 12 week contract Pay rate: £ neg (DOE)The projectThe client's specification is to complete an extension to a health care project - brick, block and concrete. Value is under £5 million.The roleWorking in a well resourced project team (Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineer and other Manager further in to the programme) your role will involve but not be limited to:Checking drawings to ensure the design delivers the client's specification and for compliance.Liaising with various internal departments which include design and commercial teams.Attending meetings with contractors and suppliers.Providing input in to the design, package scopes and programme of works.Management of site contractors which will include writing short-term programmes and site logistics plans.Site safety i.e checking contractors RAMS, making recommendations and amendments, performing the site induction process, carrying out regular inspections to ensure correct protection measures are in place and ensure safe systems of work are being adhered to.Site inspections to check progress against programme.Attending client project review meetings where budget, design, progress and safety will be on the agenda.Quality management.Recording daily site activities.Qualifications required:Ideally educated to a relevant HNC in Construction standard, you will hold the correct and up to date CITB and health & safety certificates and cards to be a key part of the management team.
