Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Currently 2 shifts (14:00 - 22:00; 06:00 - 14:00; Monday - Friday, rotating weekly), moving to 3 shifts in 1-2 months (14:00 - 22:00; 06:00 - 14:00; 22:00 - 06:00; Monday - Friday, rotating weekly)Salary: From £28,600, rising to £29,200 on the new shift pattern

About:We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable QA Technician to join our recently established QA Lab as part of our ongoing growth. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Screen all incoming raw materials and finished products manufactured on site.
Ensure legislative food safety requirements and specific customer practices are adhered to.
Continuously manage HACCP and alignment to BRC and customer requirements.
Undertake internal audits relating to GMP and finished product requirements.
Maintain traceability, hygiene, quality, and process records with validation of results, identification of trends, root cause analysis, and instigation of corrective actions.
- Carry out sampling and investigations for microbiological, allergen, nutritional or customer requirements.
Work closely with third-party certification bodies for sustainability, religious, and ethical obligations.
Requirements:
Proficient in HACCP principles and practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or patterns.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting inspections and audits.
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings and recommendations.
