We have a fantastic Locum Opportunity for Adult Safeguarding Practice Leads, on a 6 month contract, supporting both the social care workforce and the NHS Trust. This is a strategic and advisory role providing expert safeguarding guidance, supporting social workers and partner agencies with complex cases. You'll lead on safeguarding decision making, practice development, and multi-agency coordination.
Office attendance will be required, and flexibility is essential due to the nature of the work.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate complex safeguarding enquiries
- Provide expert advice to practitioners and partner agencies
- Support decision-making using legislation, policy, and guidance
- Deliver presentations and safeguarding briefings to professionals
- Engage with MAPPA, PREVENT, DHRs, and Safeguarding Adult Reviews
- Contribute to service development and practice improvement
To be considered for this role:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act and adult safeguarding frameworks
Experience managing high-risk, complex adult safeguarding cases - Confident in multi-agency work and leading safeguarding processes
Presentation and training delivery skills - Flexible approach to office-based work
